"This new one from The reggae gold series is back to where it first started when it first came out....on top. Reggae gold 999 lost me for a while because a lot of the songs were either on something else or I didn't like it. This one? .....lets just say you might as well put this on repeat . Songs Like "Hot girl today" from vegas and sean paul and "Look" from buju get the first cd off to a good start. One cd is full of dancehall rythems while the otehr cd is a more concious laid back cd. If you never heard of the reggae gold series then this is a good place to start. I don't know how they will top this cd but they always find a way to do it.Check this out and see what the hype is about....get it!"
It's okay...

"First, I start with saying that the whole Reggae Gold serie is a pretty good one, and this '2000' version is no exception to the rule. Good choice of songs, good variety. But my opinion is, that these albums are meant for the people who listen to dancehall once and a while. Because people who collect a lot of dancehall music, and buy the diverse riddim-albums also, will find out that the most songs on this CD will already be in their music-collection. For these people, only the extra CD with the Adonai remixes will be really interesting."
BLAZIN CD! A must buy!

"The VP record company has done it again! Reggae Gold 2000 is by far the best one! Personally, I found this compilation much better than '99. The second disc with the songs mixed by Adonai is good for dancing.GET DAT ALBUM!"
