Best punk comp

"This is the best x-section of punk. The history is there, and killer groups are not left out. It's 3 CD's, the first punk's American roots, Stooges, Dolls, Ubu, Groovies, Suicide; second is "singles" with mostly less well-known punks, Urban Dogs, Raped, Fallen Angels, Rubella Ballet, Action Pact; the third "punks on drugs", 20 songs about twisting the brain, "too much junkie Business", by the Heroes, "Chinese Rocks", "waitin 4 the man" by Eater, "My Baby Takes Valium" by Family Fodder!?. Amazon should give more info on this one. I've got the 20 CD "The Entire History of Punk", which is most notable for groups and sub-genres not represented. This one has the well-known as well as the obscure, probably-only-heard-in-England, groups and songs. Also, many of the tunes are not the ones usually heard, yet they're not some un-listenable boot-quality dreck. The liner notes are PUNK. Recommended, if you care about rock 'n' roll at the edge. Stars? Only the very primo should get 5, and a comp can hardly qualify, even one as punk as this; my 4 is way up there. It's a mess of heavy punk for the $$."
