Overall good soundtrack

"I remember this soundtrack mainly because of Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth's "One in a Million". It is very hard to find that song anywhere. Other notables are Mista Grimm's "Indo Smoke" (I have no idea how they were able to play this on the radio) and my favorite song, Tha Dogg Pound's "N's Don't Give a F". I wasn't really impressed with TLC's "Get It Up", but not many people can remake a Prince song right, anyway. I would have enjoyed this soundtrack more if Janet Jackson's "Again" (or any Janet song) was on here since she is the star of the movie but I guess it had to do with contractual reasons, as another reviewer said."
Got to See the Movie

"Ok, I'm not a real big fan on the soundtrack. It was cool but didn't really do to much for me. Except for Stevie Wonder's song. But the movie, now that gets five stars. It came out in 93 and I still watch the movie to this day which was 7 years ago. It's sad that no one has responded to this but it's ok because I give props where props are due."
Top 5 Soundtracks of all-time

"Another early '90's classic soundtrack that was great and matched the feel of the movie. Also this was the coming out party for a man out of Chattanooga, TN named Usher Raymond(Usher) with his hit "Call Me A Mack"(one of his best songs of all-time) and also featured TLC's remake of the The Time's "Get It Up". This soundtrack had some star power to it but was ignored by the mainstream audience which makes this soundtrack underrated. Some other songs of interest as well is "Indo Smoke" by Mista Grimm, "N***** Don't Give A F***" by the Dogg Pound, & one of my favorite 2Pac joints "Definition Of A Thug N****". Overall a great sleeper soundtrack that did not get a lot of pub but in my book it is a classic."
