Great CD, far too short
naglfar666 | Hilton Head Island, SC USA | 04/20/2002
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Okay, every track on this is great. However, this barely hits the 30 minute mark. They should have had 4 tracks a piece for Slipknot and System Of a Down, 3 for Rammstein (who they were planning on putting on, but for some reason didn't), 2 for Mudvayne (they only were on for half the tour), 3 for No One (they did the whole tour, starting as openers, but taking Mudvayne's spot when they had to leave due to KuD's health problems), and 2 for American Head Charge (who did half the tour as openers). That would have made a full length CD that gives proper due to each band. Unfortunately, Columbia left out Rammstein and made each band have less tracks than they deserved. The tracks that are on this album are great though, which is why I gave it four stars. It really should be 3 1/2, but I rounded up."
Decent, but too short.

"This cd is great for die-hard Slipknot and System of a down fans, who just cant get enough, and love hearing new live material. If you're a casual Slipknot fan, I would reccomend not giving this album much thought becasuse it's kind of sloppy, and the singer almost sounds as if he's catching his breath while trying to keep up on "Heretic Anthem." Slipknot was the headliner on the tour, and they only put 3 songs on this cd. System of a Down's performance on the album was good, but once again, I thought they should have put more than 3 songs on it. Their guitarist is amazing, and I remember from attending the Grand Rapids, Michigan show that he did a long solo while the other guys in the band left the stage...and that's not included on the album (I'm sure he did it in Chicago, where this was recorded also) which is dissapointing. I cant really say much about Mudvayne's songs on the album, because I dont really care for them anyway, so I wont give a biased review. There's only 2 songs, which once again, is really weak. American Head Charge and No One were the rotating openers on the tour, and they each have 1 song on the cd. All in all, it IS a good album...the reason for my 3-star review is strictly for the lack of content. I think that 10 total songs from 5 bands is really weak."
