CD ReviewsA celebration of Woman and the Pan 10/03/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "Pan Woman, from the Caribbean carnaval serious by Sanch Electronix, is a true celebration. As Women, who for so long have been outsiders, are no longer such. In this unique CD, you can hear them play, and sing at their best. Among all the groups participating in this collection, I was especially moved by PANDIGENOUS, which is the only steel orchestra which uses a vocalist. This, contributes significally to their unique style. Culture, is one of their three songs, and the message presented is a call for better a stronger self-appriciation of the trinidadian culture: "it is hard for someone to love you, if you don't love yorself". I love Pan Woman, and I believe that you will join me each time you listen to this CD."
