"Yes mon...pleasantly surprised with this effort. Two of the finer things in life (Stones and reggae music) combine forces to extend the lifespan of some of the greates rock songs recorded. Check out the creative twist on sugar black's Jumping Jack Flash. Stell Pulse, who has let Iman down much in the recent past comes through with a stellar version of you can't always get.... The Gladiators go back to their rootsy sound with Time on My side. Sit on the beach, put up the feet and take in Waiting on a Friend by Hu Jay...nice vibes. The only misses that do not jive are Boothe's Brown Sugar (Love Mr. Boothe though) and Ricks' Honkey Tonk. Would have loved to hear an artist like the Wailing Souls cove Luxury...now that would be totally Irie Mon. Spend the cash and enjoy."

"This is a very entertaining set of tunes. The groups are diverse and almost all of the tracks bring something new to the Stones tunes without taking them over. The (2) love songs may not translate as well but Start Me Up, Jumpin Jack Flash, and You Can't Always Get What You Want are terrific! These are fun covers to mix in on party play lists."

"Have gotten a bit tired of seeing so many tribute CD releases flooding the market these days, but I thought this reggae tribute to Mick, Keith and the boys wasn't bad. Tunes here I thought showed the most effort was Toots & The Maytal's "Start Me Up", Sugar Black's "Jumping Jack Flash", The Heptone's "Satisfaction" and the Andrew Francis homage of "Under My Thumb". Strictly for die-hards."
