"Ultra records compiles 2 CDs of (mostly) electronic music for couples who wanna, ahem, get busy. In my opinion, nothing compares to Sade or the Isley Brothers when it comes to music to make love by, but this collection (the credits don't say who mixed the discs) does the job nicely. We're off to a jazzy start on disc 1 with "Sensual Woman" by the Herbaliser and "Tonight" by downtempo staple Koop. The groove eventually morphs into mellow house with cuts like 'My Precious Thing" by Llorca, Norah Jones and Wax Poetic's remixed "Angels," and Luomo's "Body Speaking." Disc 2 has interesting kicks of its own, featuring a dash of reggae on "Midnight Marauders" by Joe Dukie & DJ Fitchie, some electronic touches on Vikter Duplaix's "Sexuality" and the chilled touches of "Shake it Loose" by Dolphin Boy. You want some bossa nova? No problem. Check out Balanco's "A Man and a Woman." While these CDs were made specifically for those intimate moments, "Music to Make Love By" also qualifies for a solid chillout collection of laid-back jams."

"I can't say I like the music presented in this collection. The songs seem kinda bland, or monotonous. I've heard better lounge. Some of my favorite collections are "Ultimate Lounge" and "Pure Chill Out 2". They don't claim to sex us up, but their music is better and quite erotic, im my opinion."
