"I just got my album, and i have to admit that this time ministry of sound tried a different route and changed the Annual, this time for 2008, into a well organized mix of not so commercialized tunes. Both CD's are strong (even though there is always those songs you would do without), with a good flow of hard housy beats, and electro down tempo moods. To me it is well worth the money. I found this tunes from CD1 to be particularly enjoyable: "Uninvited," "Suburban Knights," "Get Down," "The Creeps," "Everybody Freakin," "Magenta," "Echo," "Cream," "Feel The Hard Rock." CD2 "With Every heartbeat," "I Want Your Soul," "Ride The Storm," "Rise Up," "Evribadi," "Guilty," "Sweet Harmony," and "Back Once Again." CD3 has some wild MashUp unmixed mixes, which are really interesting. Overall a good strong mix, you can really call this an "Annual", but of course that is just my personal opinion... but it's the first Annual that I give it 5 starts."

"One of the best compilations of the year with many fresh tunes/remixes never really heard before in the USA. Well worth adding to your collection."
Starts out creative then "crash and burn"

"I like the creative way CD1 starts, but then it switch to a non-creative mix of "heard it before" mix."
Annual 2008: Not near as good as 2007-

"The Ministry of Sound: The Annual. It sells because it has a good formula (usually).
1. Pick the best/most popular club hits of the year.
2. Put them on a CD
But this year they decided to put a couple hits and some boring songs. There were some really big hits this year that never made it to the CD. Where are David Guetta's hits? Where was Jamie Lewis - "So Sexy"? I heard those played in nightclubs all the time. I'd say find another compilation."
Good, not great

"So, as the negative reviews are telling you, this isn't their best Annual. But it's still got some awesome songs. True, there are some songs I've de-selected in iTunes, so they no longer play, but most of the album I enjoy. If you've bought every Annual, you should own this one too.
