Loads of new wave classics--12" versions and original single

"Definitely not as good as volume 2 in terms of 12" versions, this compilation offers a lot of original album versions, but in most cases because there either was no 12" version, or the 12" version was either a dub or mostly instrumental. Most of these tracks have appeared on numerous compilations in the 12" versions, but you may find a few versions previously undiscovered on CD. The only real gripe is with the title...not all of these songs are "techno pop". But they are all great new wave classics! Personally, I bought the entire collection for the 12" version of Steppin Stone by Modern Rocketry because the shoret version is on their "Get Ready" compilation CD. Track times:

"No cigar here. Hate to disagree with the other reviewer but it's not most are 12" singles.

The Night? a remix, an edit at the wonderful time at 3:09! Which is really sad since I have the 12" single on "blanco y negro"

Overall a nice collection of tracks but far from the 12" singles that have been known from this label. Nice to collect oldies, but not for true collectors.
