"The money from this project helps support the T.J. MartellFoundation and ... is a decent 2CD collection whose strongest point is it's cross section of music: Rock, pop and rap. Among the 29 tracks are few rediscoveries that you should check out: Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue On Black" is his best cut that wouldn't have sounded out-of-place on a Lynyrd Skynyrd album from the 70's. Big Pun's "I'm Not A Player" is great hip-hop from a talent gone-too-soon. And the Spice Girls' "Stop" is the best Motown girl group record since the 70's. And "Save Tonight" rescue's a great single from a mediocre album. One minor quibble: The version of "Maria" by Blondie is a remix and not the version you hear on the radio. But for 29 tracks [reasonably-priced], and for a good cause. this is a sound compilation investment."
