It's title is meant to play on the old jazzclub vibe, when in fact, all the performances are recent recordings by mid-level artists who do not evoke anything LIKE the atmosphere as advertised. Read the track list, and see how many names you might recognize. Right,one, maybe. So,now you know that what you are getting is actually a new artists sampler. As such the CD is OK. IF you want classic jazz, look for the Original Jazz Classics CD's.
