As Good as the First Set. Maybe even Better.

"I am so impressed with the quality of the recordings in this series of boxed sets and the packaged materials. Don't be fooled by the picture, the box it comes in is very large..about 10 or 11 inches square. It isn't just a regular cd size box. Included in the box are the 3 cds and a large softbound book with vintage photographs and informative text.

As I stated in the previous review I wrote about part 1 of this series, I don't know much about the genre of Jazz, but to me, these collections are so much more than the sum of their parts. They really do transport you to another time and another place. I can't recommend them highly enough."
