Great collection of classic jazz!

"In this age of "If it's not young and new, it's not worth the listen," here is a collection of jazz music you don't get to hear on the "Top FM" or "Cool Jazz" radio stations! I have been collecting the Jazz Moods CDs for the past 10 years, since I picked up a couple to throw into a wedding gift for a friend and added a few for myself. Each one has a variety of lesser-known and well-known artists performing beloved jazz favorites as well as unique, never-heard-before compositions. Each covers a different mood, place or time of day. However, I find that any and all are perfect wherever and whenever.

My husband and I have not been disappointed in a single one of them. You may not hear "Dianna" or "Nora," on these CD's, but you *will* hear classic jazz musicians and divas you wish you had heard long ago. Yet, there is an excellent mix of vocal and instrumental tracks to keep the tone just right. In this music collection, the SONGS rule, not the singers! My favorites (so far!) are "Jazz by the Fire," "Dinner by Candlelight," and "Feeling Sentimental.""
