"Speaking as a fan of the older style of psychobilly,i.e. a more even blend of genres, not simply punk with an double bass, I found this album entertaining but lacking. In all honesty there are maybe 4-5 songs that really grabbed me. The stand out tracks being Battle Of Ninjamanz take on "Please Don't Touch", better than either the Meteors or Stray Cats version, but still not as good as Motorhead's. And Spikes' "Rockabilly Rods On Speed".
Like most comp's today the emphasis is on the more fast, punky
sound that is popular among the younger crowd. I'm glad I got it,
but all in all, I think if your looking for a Japanese psycho comp, your better off buying the "Jappin' Psycho Bomb" CD's first."
