CD Reviews

Absolutely Phenomenal!
*Danielle* | Utica, NY USA | 04/25/2000

"This is one of the best House/Trance mixed CDs I have ever heard! Phil B does a wonderful job incorporating good vocal trance and house together into a fabulous blend of pure energetic delight. "Strong in Love" is simply a beautiful song. This is a *must have* for all you up-beat electronica lovers...and even you mainstreamers who love to dance, and are willing to let House Trancemissions take you into another realm!"
Great compilation by Up-and-Coming "star" Phil B.

"Phil B. does a superb job of mixing these tunes. I found the last 3 tracks a bit out of place with the others, but I enjoyed them nevertheless. Not to quibble, but the other reviewer's comment that Phil B. created "Circuit Grooves 9.1" isn't accurate -- that was Matt Consola, another San Francisco DJ. HOWEVER, Phil B. does have a new release -- "Music for the Clubs" in which he has taken his considerable talent to an even higher level. I definitely recommend that one, as well as this one."
A Great House/Trance Compilation!

"Like other reviewers here, this is one of my favorite techno-dance CD's and has been since I picked it up 6-8 months ago. About the only slightly better CD I have like this is Swedish Egil's Groove Radio Trancemission #1 compilation (which also has an Ayla song on it). This CD is strong from start to finish and has numerous high points along the way. It's an interesting mix in that the sound gradually evolves from full out house/trance at the beginning and thru the middle to an almost disco-ish (Gloria Gaynor?) sound by the last couple of songs. The transition is really smooth and sweet, and keeps the CD interesting all the way through. Let this music carry you away!"
