"Boston MCs and the whole Boston Underground Hip Hop scene seems to always get overlooked. Groups like Lif, 7L & Esoteric, Akrobatik, EDO G, and now the Kreators are putting out tracks and hits that'll split yer wig. I still think that one of the most slept on albums was No Contest, by the Kreators (Pick that *ish up when you buy this album!), and it was only when Guru blessed one of their tracks that people started really picking up on this group. 7L & Eso had one of the WU, and kids were like who's dat? Anyway, this is a compilation album chock full of Boston flava. If you want to hear how we do it in the Bean, cop this CD."

"This album is reveloutionary to say the least. It's one of those albums you listen to for the first time and it changes your whole perception of what real hip hop is(sort of like a gangstarr's 'moment of truth', or j-live's 'all of the above'.I didn't even know who any of the artists on the album were except Krumbsnatcha, Edo G., Esoteric,Guru & Big Shug. Little did I know the best suprises would come from newcomers like EDAN{rap beautician}, or PAW Dukes {cest la' vie}. This album also served as my first hearing from the likes of Mr Lif & Cadence {I am myself} & Insight {rap religion}. I was very impressed with detonator records own, CHAN {chronic whisper} and T -Max {mind over matter} produced by supreme one. Also other boston bred producers hold it down taking beats to a new level consist of 'The Soul Searchers'(produced REKS whole album), Dialek (who's done tracks for Krumbsnatcha) G2 of the kreators,Raw Produce(a.k.a. Cadence) & Insight, repectively. Purchase this album today, it's true underground with no commercial non-sense.Also, go grab up them 7l & Esoteric and REKS 'Along Came The Chosen' debut LP's, you won't be disappointed."
