Some gems can be found on this budget-priced, obscure set

"I got this collection initially because it included one of my favorite Christmas oldies: a swingin' God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by the immortal Nancy Sinatra. To my suprise, there were quite a few enjoyable recordings to be found here. A Gift Of Hope by Mary Hart and the Entertainment Tonight Children's Choir is the perfect anthem/response to this tragedy-filled year. Former 5th Dimension sweetie Marilyn McCoo also provides some heartfelt inspiration on Everyday Should Be Christmas. Kenny Rankin's Angels We Have Heard On High and America's Hark! The Herald Angels Sing offer some traditional hymns, in a soothingly soft, yet modern setting. There are a couple of duds, most notably the youthful, off-key cast of the defunct soap Santa Barbara (among them, Bridgette "Mrs. Pete Sampras" Wilson) attempting to sing Jingle Bells. But overall, for this price, it's a great deal."
