"With the relevantly recent revival of lounge music, it is getting all the more harder to pinpoint the good releases. Especially if one is dealing with compilations. This is a true little gem! There is a smooth flow throughout the entire compilation creating a true lounging atmosphere. This is not just a filler for your cocktail party by the pool, although your party would be very successful if you played it for your guests. This CD has substance and can be enjoyed as such. Tracks like "Mr. Dupont" by the Dining Rooms, and "French Letter" by J-Walk add a nice french flavor to this mix, while Thievery Corporation's "Samba Tranquille" gives it a brazilian twist. I enjoy every single minute of it. Another magnificent release, from a great series."

"Ok, this is Amazon, where you can't trust many recommendations... but this has been one of my favorite Chill-Lounge CD for over a year. All 4 Disks are awesome, Vol 3 is the best, 4 just behind it; Vol 2 has great tracks, and Vol 1 can be had elsewhere. This Vol 3 is the pinnacle of the series (so far), and has been my top recommendation to my friends; do not pass this up!"

"Guidance Recordings Insouciantly glide into the fray once more. Not rushing, mind, with volume three of the horizontal "Hi Fidelity Lounge" series. Bursting with down
tempo bombs from the dubby duo Thievery Corporation whose "Samba Tranquille" as the title suggests, It's a groovy samba shuffle, J-Walk with the Booker T after a bag of
Moroccan gold jazz fudge of "Soul Vibration" and the Randall and Hopkirk deceased vibraphone and harpsichord boogaloo of "French Letter". It's a solid gold selection
probably better suited to those funny coffee shops in Amsterdam rather than your local cocktail lounge, and anyway how many people have local cocktail lounges anyway?
Don't know about you lot, but I'd get a bottle over my head if I asked for a Sea Breeze in my local . (Editor's note: that' last line was quite humorous)"
Pretty good but not overly memorable

"I got this because of the rave reviews. Overall it's pretty good back ground chill, but most of the tracks just don't stick, maybe cuz it just gets tooo sleepy and lacks the occasional uptempo tracks. Track 10 I think is the best, by Soulstance who I had not heard of and now about to look into their releases. so it was worth the purchase just for that discovery."
