"Fantastic 2CD set. You'll hear punk-pop, pop-rock, post-punk, power-pop ... basically a lot of upbeat music.
Some tracks of note:
* The Red Elvises - Ticket To Japan: If you like their 1998 CD I Wanna See You Bellydance, you'll like Ticket To Japan immediately.
* Ganggajang - Anodyne Dream: One of the most cleverly written songs I've ever heard--with not a speck of original lyrics.
* Annabella Lwin - Sacred Ground: My favorite track. Her notorious history fronting Bow Wow Wow belies the fact that she sings amazingly well. A surprisingly beautiful, yet not-shy, song. Thank you 2, Annabella.
* Suburban Legends - Blingity Bling: SoCal ska with a great horn section. Loud, fast, fun.
* Adrian Belew - Survival In The Wild: My second favorite track. George Harrison's sitar meets the love child of Lindsey Buckingham and Uncle Tupelo. Or not.
* The Randies - Peanut Butter: The opening few seconds make it sound like you've strolled into 10cc's new Parisian bistro in the mid-afternoon ... then the staccato snare reminds you you're in post-punk land. The subtle wah-wah guitar under the verses est très bon.
All this and The Fixx, Kevin Gilbert, Wang Chung, Dramarama, The Rubinoos plus a whole bunch of others I'd never heard of ... and enjoyed just as much. Many of the tracks are unreleased elsewhere. Much effort went into the creation of this tsunami disaster benefit album with proceeds going to the relief organization CARE.
Cannot recommend for those who like their music angry and melody-free."
Too good to be a charity album!!!!!

"You're contributing to the Tsunami Relief Fund by CARE, but mostly helping yourself by getting this 2-disc set of rare tracks and unreleased gems by bands such as Wang Chung, The Fixx, Ganggajang, Annabella Lwin of Bow Wow Wow, Adrian Belew, The Red Elvises, Kevin Gilbert, and more!!! I can't believe how many tracks they squeezed onto this underpriced compilation... it truly puts to shame other compilation albums with a handful of tracks to their names. These tracks range from the late 70's power pop era all the way to 2005 unreleased tracks, and are all fantastic!!! Do yourself a huge favor and get this album; you will not find a better compilation of new music and rare gems than this! Not to mention helping out for a very worthy cause... cheers!"
GREAT POP ALBUM

"This album has about every pop artist new and old. Some of the bands have new songs I have never heard before. I hope they put the bands on the road for a big concert. Buy it, you can't go wrong."
Great music, important cause, astounding value

"By itself, this is one of the finest collections of under-the-radar pop music in recent years, featuring many unreleased songs and many recognizable names: Dramarama, The Red Elvises, Nine Below Zero, The Fixx, Adrian Belew, Wang Chung, Supersuckers, BMX Bandits. Add to this the fact that it is a steal at under $15 for two CD's packed with 49 songs from artists around the world. Most importantly, by buying this CD you are donating to the CARE USA Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund. With 100% of the proceeds going to the relief fund, these artists have selflessly contributed some incredible tunes to help lift spirits, foster hope and set your toes tapping."
