Welcome back to Crystal Lake in a chilling re-imagining of the classic horror film "Friday the 13th". The movie is produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, who together produced "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Amityville Horror," and original "Friday the 13th" producer/director Sean Cunningham. The soundtrack features music from Night Ranger, The Hives, The Kills and the classic "Friday the 13th theme" by composer Steve Jablonsky.
"The soundtrack for FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009) seems to be only available for sale on Amazon.com, and not at your average music/record store. This was a first for Friday the 13th. When there was a soundtrack for one of the movies, it was always available in stores. When I found this out, I quickly ordered several copies from Amazon.com for my friends and I. The soundtrack features ALL the songs heard in the movie, PLUS one instrumental score track by Steve Jablonsky. It is the opening credits track. I recommend this soundtrack to all fans of the FRIDAY THE 13TH series, and I suggest you get it now before it might go out of print or something (since it is only available online, just like the score to the recent MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D)."
It could easily be a nice pop-rock compilation album

"
OK...Let me say first THIS IS NOT A TRUE F13 SOUNDTRACK for except track 13 the rest have nothing to do with the series and they could easily be in a nice pop-rock compilation.
Now...i know there were songs before from other F13 films BUT those songs had real connections with the movies and they were not irrelevant like the new songs. (remember from part 6, alice cooper's, man behind the mask and from part 8, metropoli's, the darkest side of the night).
Overall this is not a bad soundtrack. IT'S JUST NOT A F13 SOUNDTRACK."
A MUST HAVE FOR FRIDAY FANS

"I looked everywhere for this when I heard that FRIDAY THE 13TH(2009) had a soundtrack. I was even told by a big chain retailer that no such soundtrack existed. Thankfully, I found it on AMAZON & it was definitely worth every penny. I have still yet to see on a store shelf. All the tracks on CD are actually used in the movie some more prominently than others but there is not on dud on here. I find myself listening to it quite frequently. This is a definite MUST HAVE for FRIDAY fans. You will not be disappointed!"
How come we can buy it onlyt on amazon.com?!...

"Cause the soundtrack is really great plus as it was said earlier, it has all the songs featured on the movie which is really unusual. The songs are huge and the movie had to have it soundtrack, so how come you can't find it on CD stores. Think about people living out of the US like I do. I love the soundtrack but 21,00 dollars is pretty expensive for this, don't you think?..."
