"What a trip this disc is! I used to be pretty uninterested in the Dead- if it was on, I'd listen, but thats about it. Then I happened on this disc! I love it. I remarked to a friend at how happy the reggae makes the songs seem- and she pointed out that they always were happy! I have a new appreciation for the band after hearing their songs interpreted this way! Standouts are "Shakedown Street" by Marcia Griffiths, "Sugaree" by Gregory Issacs, and "Birdsong" by Ken Boothe!"
