Inspiration to begin buying CDs again

"Seeing as my CD collection has all but turned into a glorified set of frisbees from the MC hammer craze, I decided to start afresh with Matt Darey's Euphoria Level 4. Although I normally just download the most popular trance and house tunes on MP3, it's the lesser known tracks that fall inbetween that really stand out on a compilation like this. The second CD is my favorite of the two, I recommend tracks 4, 9 and 11 -all of which were discovered while napping on the train to work. I also recommend Darey's Ibiza release within the Euphoria collection.at best: you have a CD with mellow tunes to chill to, and plenty of thumping sets to throw parties withat worst: you'll find a few no-namer DJs with good sound that might be worth checking out on MP3"
"I gotta tell you that Euphoria 4 is a great trance compilation. I like second CD better than the first.. Tracks like Darude - Sandstorm, Ernst and Ben - Provider and Z2 - I Want You absolutely blow you away. First CD also has some good tracks, the best of which is imho Sexdrive by Private Production. Overall the CD is great, but way too vocal. If you are new to trance, get this CD - it will be a great introduction to this form of music. However if you are a hardcore trance fan get Oakenfold's - Tranceport or any of DJ Tiesto's mixes.."

"I have a whole bunch of compilations, some I like more than others. Darey's Ibiza Euphoria CD2 is by far my fav compilation ever, and this one comes pretty close. Unlike a bunch of the other reviewers, I think Sexdrive is cool, but the best song I'd never heard before in this mix was Tomski ft. Jan Johnson, Love Will Come -- wow!You won't regret getting this CD. My aerobics instructor wants a copy now ;)"
Matt Darey does it again

"A year removed from the absolute gem of a compilation in "Ibiza Euphoria", Matt Darey has returned to mix a whole set of new thumping tracks, most of which the average trance listener has never heard before. The first CD starts off with a brilliant DSP intro that leads into William Orbit's instant-classic "Barber's Adagio for Strings". There is a bit of a let down for the rest of the first CD, however, even though there are some great tracks to be heard. The second CD is unquestionably the main event, and nowhere is Matt Darey's skill showcased as well as the last 8 tracks, starting with mega-rave anthem "Sandstorm" by Darude and weaving its way through numerous dance tracks that are mixed to the point where it all begins to sound like one very long, very melodic song. Good mojo for trance aficionados."

"I'd never really listened to trance until I started using an MP3 program. When I heard this album I was hooked. I've spent the last month searching local music stores for this. Well all I can say is as a result, I'm a new fan of trance music."
