DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP

"Maybe because I saw Fatboy's remix of Renegade Master or Planet Rock 2000 that I thought that this would be the techno compilation I had to have. However, I was, needless to say, disappointed. Don't get me wrong, this album has its share of great tracks. Besides the two I just mentioned, the first 8 tracks are definately worth listening to. But from there it sort of drops off. Everything starts to run together and my interest waned. They went from energy-packed ,toe-tapping, unmistakable tracks like Funky into some cookie-cutter, "heard that a million times" tracks like Le Plasir and Break it Down. It began solid but they should have stuck with the same style they started the CD off with."
