Synopsis

Album Description
Following the first "Dome Cookin" released in 2002, the UK's No 1 R&B/soul label is following it with a second low-price limited edition compilation. The 17 tracks span the past, present and future of the label, with upfront cuts from albums by UK soul vocalist Avani and Incognito singer Kelli Sae, as well as in-demand gospel soul track from Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers. Among the Dome classic cuts included are the Full Crew remix of Dennis Taylor's "Bad As You Wanna Be", the VRS remix of Hil St Soul's "Nostalgia", Drizabone's reworking of Lulu's "There Has Got To Be A Way" and an acoustic version of Angela Johnson's "Sad Days". The Donald Lawrence gospel cut "Keep On Blessing Me" - from the same stable as another recent Dome artist Darwin Hobbs - samples Evelyn Champagne King's "Love Come Down",while New Jersey Incognito front woman Kelli Sae contributes "Can't Wait" from her as yet unreleased solo album.
