"This CD of Ministry of Sound was better than what i expected...and i'm giving it 5 stars because all the songs (or at least 90%)are really good mixes of funky house with a nice bouncy rhythm, I highly recommend this CD even though it's the first import I buy this year...highlight songs are "Faster Kill Pussycat," "Tell Me Why," the exceptional remix of "Make A Move on Me" of Joey Negro, Beatfreakz "Somebody's Watching Me" and other great songs...



The only bad things is that this Clubber's Guide doesn't really go into Trance like other albums do, so if you like trance & not house, this is not an album for you...but if you just like any type of house music you should get..."

"This disc is pretty tight. Good new stuff with some re-worked '80's classics mixed in. I've had it on heavy rotation on the Hi-Fi, dancing around the apartment!"

As Much As Can Be Expected For Ministry of Sound

"The public keeps buying so MOS keeps pumping them out. Way back when, you could only anticipate the "Annual" by Minstry of Sound once every year. Nowadays, there are so many subseries that I have lost track of them all. Still, when I do manage to listen to one or the other, it's curious how most sound exactly the same despite featuring different tracks. Regardless, MOS it not famed for great sets featuring great DJ's. They produce for the massess and feature mostly commerical tracks and clubbers anthems. This album is yet another to be lost in the pile after a few plays. Don't worry though...the next release is just around the corner.



Disc 1 a little softer, and features mostly vocal house. With the stunning exception of the great track, "A Bit Patchy" by Switch, the set is your standard MOS Summer Guide disc 1. Aren't you bored of this yet?



I must admist that disc 2 did take me by surprise in its track selections. Much deeper and riskier...well for a Ministry of Sound album anyhow. Don't get me wrong, the set is still not great, but it is much better than disc 1.



Disc 1 gets 2/5 stars, and disc 2, 3/5 stars."
