"This album presents some of the very best authentic Native American chants and war songs I have listened to, ever. I have visited numerous South Dakota and Montana reservations, and understand why these once-proud people involve deeply into their heritage, which our government has strived for more than 150 years to take from them. It is through these songs and chants that they mentally return to the days of open Plains living as one with Nature, and enjoy freedom without the hackles of the white society chaining them. The music stirs my soul and spirit; I can run it over and over, and each time experience the same thrills.
