CD Reviews

Every track a winner! Did I say "every?" Well, I meant it.

"Maranatha Music has been putting out edifying music for decades. Like every group and every company, not each title turns out as hoped. This is a CD that exceeds expectations. Very tasteful arrangements of traditional hymns which have celtic origins and done in a celtic style.
If you don't know the hymns and their lyrics you will still enjoy the music. If you do know them, you may find yourself worshipping... and that's not a bad thing to do. He is worthy.
I am touched by each and every song but was most moved by MY SAVIOR'S LOVE. (no pun intended) There is something about the words which brings hope and joy to my soul and the musical arrangement matches it perfectly. May you be moved as deeply."

"Listening to WCIF radio in Melbourne, Florida one morning, DJ Scott Terry put on My Saviors Love , and I called in to find out more about it. When I got the chance to pick up my copy at a bookstore, I found it to be QUITE a production. The violins, flutes, deep drums and percussion, synthesizers, guitars, Boudrhan, snare drums and guitars were meticulously arranged - and the result will bring joy to your personal worship, and may even set your feet to dancing ( that's 'foot fellowship' to my fellow Baptists). But the Vocals - well, John Andrew Schreiner and Stan Endicott couldn't have gotten any more out of their singers than they did ! A Celtic Masterpiece. The final cut -Amazing Grace - would knock them gracefully dead at 1st Baptist of Atlanta or at Coral Ridge in Fort Lauderdale - places that up till now probably think they have already heard the best of everything.
The only thing that is hard to understand is why the Maranatha Music hasn't offered any music arrangements for Celtic hymns. Unless they are planning to take the music with them on the road, they would probably reap quite a lot of benefits (financial and otherwise) in making them available to Churches everywhere. Attempting to contact John Andrew Schreiner and Stan Endicott at Maranatha Music is a real exercise in patience building........
