"Hey, this is one of my most listened to albums in my collection. I purchased this album (I say album cause Im a DJ from the old school) about a week ago today. It's a great compilation of different types of acid jazz. My favorite has got to be Transcend by Mr. Electric Triangle. It's got that nice RB appeal it. Its a very versatile album, the kind of album that you can play for just about every occassion, whether it be studying, cooking, having guests over, or laying in bed with that special someone (my personal favorite) It can definately set the mood. I give it 5 stars"

"I always get burned when I buy music out of genre's I don't know much about, but after needing someing a bit mellower than my usual big beat, I decided to pick this one up. Boy was I ever thrilled.Unlike the other reviewer however i thought that Transcend by Mr. Electric Triangle was the weakest track on the disk because it just did not fit in with the rest of the disk. After that however this record plays like a great mix disk, never giving the listener the urge to fast forward through a song. Plus like many good mix disks the strenght of the disk is the heart of the disk. Tracks 5-7 are the meat. Track 5 Jazz It Up by CFM Band makes you want to groove hard and the horns on track 7 Aqua by Hedfunk are as seductive as it gets. This record never disappoints and it a perfect starting point for anyone who thinks they need a bit of acid jazz in their lives."
