"This Bargrooves in particular has something that most other deep house CDs out there don't. Although some of the beats are more abstract compared to others and seem as if they won't fit in with the overall ambiance, it all flows nicely together. CD 1 is more of a party type CD in my opinion, while the 2nd is more of chillout, downtempo type of thing. But believe me, if you love deep house or just want to see what it is I'm talking about, you will NOT be disappointed."

"I really dig this set. This one was the first of the Bargrooves series that I bought and if it's any indication of what to expect, I'll certainly be picking up the others. I was pretty ignorant to the franchise (still am...) but as for the music, well the artists they have here are great. I've been listening to it almost whenever I head into town. The vibe of this cd is predominantly deep house, but there are many different elements contributing too. There's a few outstanding latin touches (a rare remix to Banda Favela's Samba De Il), nu-jazz (Nuspirit Helsinki) hits and even a more mellow groove here or there. CD 1 gets pumpin' from the get-go with Miguel Migs "City People" and is rather consistent with great beats and a cool feel. However cd 2 ended up being my favorite since I loved the change of styles between the cuts and there's just something about the way it grooves that really pumped me up! From the first track, to Harold's "You Know", to Kerri Chandler's "My Paradise" and the song immediately after ("Never"), which has touches of a sax and a bangin' beat that will transport you to the city nightlife. I recommend this cd to anyone that's a fan of the Naked Music house sets. If you enjoyed Miguel Mig's Nude Tempo 1 or Blue Six's music, you'll probably dig this. Likewise if you enjoyed Patrick Forge's PF01 and PF02 you'll like that this is more upbeat. And for an altogether change of pace with the summer coming, maybe check out a full track un-mixed cd titled "Brazil After Dark" for some solid latin and Brazilian house."

"I bought the first of this series "Bargrooves: Al Fresco" on a whim and thouroughly enjoyed it. So naturally when I saw "Bargrooves: Espace Prive," I had to get it. Part one was full of danceable gems that the Nude Dimensions series would be proud of, and this one is no different. This time with a more jazzy-house meets dub sound, and songs from more well-knowns like Miguel Migs, Nuspirit Helsinki, Afro Mystik, Nigel Richards and Kupper, "Bargrooves: Espace Prive" will have you shakin' that thang fa'sho'! Nothing here is original or different from stuff you may have heard already a hundred times, but mixed with "Al Fresco" and your other favorite Dance CDs, it makes for quite a frenetic night of partying!"

"Just like the first release- Al Fresco, Espace Prive once more delivers the same energy, groove, and deep house sound. Ben Sowton is THE MASTER of bargrooves and he just keeps pushing the envelope. CD starts off with the great Miguel Migs and then everything else follows. I highly recommend this as a next investment to the Bargrooves series. There's a lot of power in this CD, a slight diversion to the jazzy approach found in Al Fresco, nevertheless this CD is a must have. Jump in a car, play "City People" and you are on your way to groove land."
