"This 3-disc retrospective is a juggernaut of stoner/desert rock nuggets, sure to assuage any lingering doubts that Meteor City was consistently riding the crest of this particular musical wave...Paying rightful homage to Kyuss and their pioneering riffage, the extensive liner notes (written by Meteor City co-founders themselves, among other notables...) detail the brief but storied history of a movement and a label, both of which managed to hoist and carry the flag of heavy rock into this, the 21st Century...!?!?!? Some very tasty morsels here, several never before released, all skillfully remastered for full sonic resonance, regardless of the quality of your hi-fi or MP3 or whatever the hell you're playing music through these days...Substantive, heavy, and very satisfying. And a relative bargain to boot. Don't hesitate if you love the heft and the riffage in their purest of forms."
