The BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Luncheon is an epic musical event established over 14 years ago to honor outstanding gospel music recording artists and individuals who have contributed to the ministry and uplifting the body of Christ. Each year the gospel community comes together in this awe inspiring worship service to fellowship and lifts their voices in honor of gospel greats. Past honorees have included The Hawkins Family, Bishop Paul Morton, The Rance Allen Group, Yolanda Adams, Dottie Peoples, The Clark Sisters, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Mom & Pops Winans, Richard Smallwood, John P. Kee, Dr. Bobby Jones, Fred Hammond, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Marvin Winans, Twinkie Clark, Donald Lawrence, Donnie McClurkin, Andraé Crouch, Commissioned, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Kirk Franklin and Hezekiah Walker. In January of 2013 BMI honored the outstanding achievements of Edwin Hawkins, Lady Tramaine Hawkins and Kurt Carr with an all-star musical tribute.
