"In my opinion the best "progressive" DJ mix since the release of Jimmy Van M's superb Bedrock compilation and even better than Pappa's previous Nu Breed album. I have seen Anthony Pappa a number of times and this mix truly resemble one of his sets at its best. CD1 is quite hard and locks the listener into the groove from track 1 and keeps you there throughout the whole of CD 1. CD 2 on the other hand is more varied and takes you on a dark and twisted journey until it closes with an excellent beautiful James Holden track. What I really like about this CD is that Pappa never compromises. It is impossible to single out any specific track because they all work so well together and are excellent mixed. There are no crowd pleasing tracks neither are there any dull and boring tribal tracks which have appeared on more or less every progressive DJ mix over the last 2 years. The sound is very dark and futuristic. This CD is well up there along with Digweed and Jimmy Van M. I'm looking forward to the release of Chris Fortier's new bedrock compilation but this will be hard to beat !"
