"If you are a fan of rock-n-roll and more specifically the sounds of Memphis, you cannot go wrong by getting this disc. This is a fantastic sampler of great American music and a superb intro to 20 different GIANTS. All the songs SOUND amazing, too. This should be one of the all-time great "shuffle" discs! Just wish it had 40 tracks instead of 21."

"Last year was the 50 anniveristy of Rock and Roll, and the town of Memphis, someone from there, brought this cd out, with 21 tracks, inclduing 2 songs fom Elvis Presley, who lived in Memphis, along with some other places during his carrer, but he lived there for a long time. The cd also has songs from Roy Orbison & the Teen Kings, Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Two, Aretha Franklin, and Jerry Lee Lewis. The first songs were recored at Sam Philips's Sun Studios, but around track #10 or so, check the booklet that comes with, are songs that are from another recording studio. The cd has songs from the 50's, 60's and early 70's, and nothing too recent. So if you are a fan of these singers, maybe not all, this is denifly something you want to give a listen to.
