CD Reviews

THE Pop Album of 2000!!
Pat Kelly | Here, There & Everywhere | 11/29/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The US "Now That's What I Call Music" gathers under 20 hits, most of which are 6-12 months old. The UK series packs over 40 hits straight off the top of the chart. It includes the new tracks from BACKSTREET BOYS, NSYNC, BRITANY SPEARS, U2, BON JOVI, JANET JACKSON, DAVID GRAY, SAMANTHA MUMBA, BAHA MEN, NELLY, and Spice Girls. Plus plenty of great dance tracks to keep any party moving. Sure it costs more but a new Cadillac cost more than a used Pinto. Here's the tracklist:Disc: 1 1. Rock DJ - Robbie Williams2. Lady (Hear Me Tonight) - Modjo3. Life is a Rollercoaster - Ronan Keating 4. In Demand - Texas5. It's My Life - Bon Jovi 6. Beautiful Day - U27. Babylon - David Gray8. Pure Shores - All Saints9. Good as Usual, but songs missing
Ryan J. Price | Leicester, UK | 01/25/2001
(4 out of 5 stars)

"These albums are always good, this one especially, maybe because the quality of songs was high at the end of last year. They feature most of the songs which were big last Autumn (Fall) and Leann Rimes got to #1 after this CD was released. But as always some songs seem out of place and many are missing. I just wish i could choose what songs would get on, now that would be fun"
Better than ever
Amanda Stogniew | Norfolk, VA | 12/05/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The UK version of the Now CDs have been out longer than the America version, and are therefore much better. They've had more time to perfect it. The UK version isn't biased to the top 12 songs on the billboard chart at that time. The UK Now adds techno songs, pop songs, hardcore/punk songs and something for everyone. There is more of a selection, more up to date and is made for a larger audience. Much better than anything the American version can ever do!"
