"This boxed set isn't really classic rock except for a few tracks, but even still, it's some pretty good music. And for the price, you get 3 cds, you can't beat it. If you're looking for some cool tunes, pick this one up"
Orthodox Rock is what it is, really

"It's not really about "classic rock." That's just a term made up by some marketting company, to help radio stations make their corporate playlist seem believable. Any station playing Orthodox Rock will not deviate from the catechism (list of songs) - listen carefully. To paraphrase Led Zeppelin, one of the pillars of orthodox rock, the songs remain the same.
For example, the Carpenters are not a part of Orthodox Rock, but they are a part of (true) classic rock history... I mean, they were the biggest selling group of the 1970s (which pointing out usually makes Orthodox Rock believers most unhappy)."
