"Not all of these are the "greatest". And at least one (which IS great) is not from 1959 at all. "Tossin' and Turnin'" I recall clearly was the #1 song of 1961, according to Billboard at the end of that year. Sammy Turner had had "Lavender Blue" as a hit,a lasting one, but this one here was not. Johnny Maestro and the Crests? Good stuff. Most of the others too. All listenable. No more than four stars though. Still, it captures the moment."
