"I remember getting this LP in Holland back in the 80s and always listening to Midnight Sensation. One of the best opening tracks on an album ever. I'd dream about going to school in Jacksonville instead of Arnhem, The Netherlands! Later I also got a very crappy static-ridden cassette recording of their King Biscuit show off AFN. I'm glad these timewarp recordings are available on CD now!"
Most Under-rated Album Ever

"I was so glad to find this on CD finally! And to read that there were others that had worn out their cassettes and have never forgotten the awesome mix of melody and rock of this solid album of one great song after another. Althought the song list doesn't list it, "2+2" is on this CD--one of it's best. I could go on and on about this CD. If you've stumbled across it by mistake and have never heard it, buy it."

"In the summer of 1985, this then-little-known brother of the legendary Ronnie Van Zant broke this album on the scene of rock-and-roll fans and I, for one, loved it. For years, I looked for it to be released on CD, but to no avail. How thrilled I was to finally learn its available as my LP is well beyond its better years. Its well worth checking out for those who have not done so yet. My personal favorites are "She's Out With a Gun" and "You've Got To Believe in Love," but there are plenty of other cuts just as good. I highly recommend this one for any Van Zant fans."

"I had this album back when it first came out, (and still do) and also went thru at least 2 cassette tapes...Now I just want it on CD...
I've noticed in all the reviews that nobody mentioned a thing about the song "Does A Fool Ever Learn".. That has to be one of the best songs on this album.. It actually tells a story about a girl that just can't come to grips with the fact that she always goes back to the same type of guy that beats her up all the time and screws her over all the time.. There's alot of females in this world that live the same exact type of life that the girl in the song does.. They just keep goin' back for more.... abuse... Maybe if they really listened to the words, it might just get to them enough, and help them realize that they don't have to live like that.. but....Oh well...Like the song says,.. "Does a Fool Ever Learn??".. Sad, but true,..In most cases, nope, they never do...
Either way.. "Heart to the Flame", "She's Out with a Gun", 2+2, are ALL "Killer Tunes"....
"Cool".. I can finally have it on CD now.."

"I FIRST BOUGHT THE CASSETTE IN 1985, I WORE OUT 2 COPIES OF THIS LEGENDARY RECORDING. MIDNITE SENSATION, I'M A FIGHTER, 2+2, ALL SOLID ROCK RECORDINGS. WHILE BON JOVI AND MOTLEY CRUE WERE TRYING TO SELL RECORDS BY THEIR LIVE "LIGHT SHOWS", NOT MUSICAL CONTENT, JOHNNY VAN ZANT WAS ROCKING US FROM THE HEART. 15 YEARS LATER, THIS HAS BEEN RELEASED ON CD FORMAT. AND IT STILL ROCKS TODAY. ANY TRUE MUSIC LOVER SHOULD CHECK THIS OUT. THERE IS NOT A BAD SONG ON IT. THANK YOU FOR RELEASING IT ON DISC. I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO HEAR IT IN THE CAR AGAIN!"
