"I own every album that Van has ever created and, to be honest, the tracks on here are actually quite good, but.... Don't be fooled...This is YET ANOTHER release of the "Bang" sessions Van did in the late 1960's. They have been released many times under various album names. This is probably all very annoying to Van himself but I suspect that there's little he can do to prevent "Bang" from milking that recording session over and over and over.Try searching for the following albums, look at the track lists and you'll see what I mean.."Bang Masters - The Full Sessions" "T B Sheets" "Blowin' Your Mind" "Brown Eyed Beginnings"(Also any other title(s) that include the words "Bang" or "Sessions" or "Blowing your Mind" or "Brown Eyed xxx")"

"Sony issued this one. The only reason to get this CD is because of "Brown Eyed Girl", but at least it has an unedited version on it, unlike the Greatest Hits album. I bought the Greatest Hits album for everything else and this recording to obtain a decent copy of "Brown Eyed Girl"."

"It is shame that so many high school girls bought this album to add Brown Eyed Girl to their collection of party favorites. It is most likely sitting on the bottom of the rack along with an old Debbie Gibson album or the last Ace of Base single. The tragedy of it is in that this album, though a bit obscure, has some of his best work on it. With tracks such as Joe Harper Saturday Morning and Who Drove The Red Sports Car you can really tell how much the Van Man has put into his craft. Send Your Mind is just as much as a "happy go lucky" pop ballad as Brown Eyed Girl, and yet it goes by unrecognized by your average music consumer. But then again it takes a little better than the average music listener to appreciate mastery such as this. If you truly love all that Van Morrison's music stands for and embodies, buy it. If you don't... ...don't."
Under rated?

"Van Morrisson is one of the most under rated musician/song writers ever. I've owned and listened to his recordings for years (since the '60s). This album is on a par with all his other great works."
