Poland) Vader wants only one thing, the removal of your head from your body. With "De Profundis" they accomplish their objective with brutal swiftness. Just listen to the drumming on the first track "Silent Empire" and try not to get Whiplash! The rest of the album follows suit with brutal guitars and otherworldly growling. You cannot honestly call yourself a fan of Death Metal and not own this record, 'nuff said............." Anyway, this record has some of the best riffs I have ever heard. These guys have the ability to walk the fine line and be named in the same group with Morbid Angel, Slayer, and so on. Piotr's vocals are as raspy as ever, and the insane double base drumming by Doc is ear shattering. The opening of "Sothis" is so fast and brutal, but everything can be heard cleary. Top notch producing for a death metal band is unheard of, but with Vader, that is not the case. If you consider yourself a fan of death metal and you do not own this, please remove your ears; you are not using them correctly."
