Colin Arnstein and Skip Engelbrecht, the two musicians behind Untied States, met at a very young age. Their near life-long friendship eventually yielded an uncanny psychic rapport that became apparent to others when they began playing music as teenagers. They spent much time both making big, raucous noises, and building intimate relationships with the possibilites of their choosen musical instruments and forms.
