Since 2002, U.S.E. has forced critical and populous audiences alike into fits of euphoric dancing with their life-affirming, rock-based interpretation of electronica. Whether dominating frenzied clubs with Sir Mix-A-Lot, Junior Senior, Death Cab For Cutie and Aqueduct or overtaking arena shows with The Presidents of the United States of America, U.S.E. proffers the kind of four-on-the-floor beats and unbridled enthusiasm that put likeminded revelers Andrew W.K., Prince, Underworld and Daft Punk on the map. "Yes they use a vocoder, yes daft punk uses a vocoder and an electronic bass drum beat, that's all they have in common. USE writes songs that are entertaining and musical (which is hard to come by in electronica). They also mix traditional instruments into the mayhem which gives their music a natural sound which is exempt from most electronic music. Their live shows are all about energy, you will move, dance and squirm uncontrollably. Go seem them live in a smaller venue while you still can."

"this album is truly revolutionary. people dont realize this. their called united state of electronica because they are funny people. it's not a serious name, nor is their music trying to change uppity hipsters who think they got ripped off cuz they want something depressing. these songs are actually amazing pop rock songs w/ a techno bass drum beat. really simple, really effective. and it's true, they really are the best live band in the USA."

"U.S.E. Rocks!!! This is the type of music I've been waiting for for soooo long. Nothing makes a day happier than this album. Some songs are better than others but mostly it will keep you dancing and they are a real band that you can't help but scream out with. See them live if possible, the music will keep you coming back."
Eerily infectious (but in a good way)

"I picked this album up at one of U.S.E.'s awesome live shows and I'm so glad that I did--now whenever I need a boost in my mood all I need to do is pop their CD in and before long I'm singing along with a goofy, exhuberent smile on my face. What more could you ask for?"

"Heard of these guys streaming online at kexp.org. Got hooked on a couple of their songs and drove to S.F. to catch a live show. This album is absolutely one of my favorites that I've picked up within the past year. While the entire album is great, my favorite tracks are "Open Your Eyes" and "Emerald City"."
