"This is Underworld at their best; smooth, complex, and engaging. Fans of Dubnobasswithmyheadman must check out what is essentially another album. Few of the tracks resemble closely the original they are supposedly a remix of. Rather, they take on a life of their own, both on the headphones and in the imagination. Several of these tracks are on par with the best Underworld has to offer anywhere else. However, fans looking for more tracks like dirty epic and cowgirl would be best advised to buy Beaucoup Fish. This album is all much mellower than the original tracks. But it is, truly, an album, a good one, and Underworld fans would be ill-advised to miss out on it."
An incredible journey that Underworld takes you on

"I had ordered this CD off of Amazon not only because it was another CD-Single for my Underworld collection, but for the main purpose that his was an important song (Dirty Epic) and was extremely rare to find. This is a MUST OWN for all Underworld fans around the world. What I liked about the 'Dirty Epic' CD is that it was a journey that brought you in and out of reality. It places you in a trance and is great to imagine as you adventure through the different mixes (Dirty Guitar Mix, Dirty Mix, & the original Album Version). With each different interpretation of Dirty Epic, you begin to admire the song, not for respect of the song, but for the different motions each different mix has, eventually drifting back to the Album Version from Dubnobasswithmyheadman. Next, you are brought through the motions of Cowgirl, which also was taken off of Dubnobass. Cowgirl, in my opinion, was a more EASY dance tune to be listening or motioned through. It was eight minutes of pure bliss though as you then venture through the Irish Pub In Kyoto Mix and the end this segment of the Single with the Winjer Mix of Cowgirl (Different, but a different interpretaion of the song). The highlight of the entire Single though was the song: REZ. This was like listening to an ambient version of Cowgirl as you hear the familiar sounds and beats...I'm in a heaven everytime I sink in to imagination when Rez plays (Rez IS the best track on this Single). Finally, you end with River Of Bass, which was from Dubnobass and added on to give a nice, layed back ending. It would've been quite interesting if Underworld had made a CD-Single out of ROB and made some rare B-Side tracks, don't you think? If you can find this Single anywhere, purchase it, cause it's definitely out of print (I also would suggest the 'Dark & Long' CD-Single too. *Thumbs up!*)."

"I just love dirty epic so you know I had to get the remix album. I was not disapointed at all. I love this c.d, it's the best remix album right after born slippy. The length of this c.d, plus the price makes this one of the discs you can buy. I recommend this to any underworld listener."
Good but disappointing

"to start, i would have to say underworld is my absolute favorite. i've owned dubnobass for the longest time, and dirty epic is my favorite song. consequently, i was really looking forward to getting this in the mail. i am somewhat disappointed in it, though, as i don't think any of the remixes are quite the same caliber as the original songs. i still very much enjoy the album, though. if you are looking for an introduction to underworld, i would say defer and get dubnobasswithmyheadman instead."
What a long, engaging "single"

"I bought this for "Cowgirl" and was disappointed in the remixes, but fortunately the other tracks blew me away. It is interesting to hear Underworld sing lyrics rather than to spout gibberish. This is a fine disc to make use of your stereo's programming function."
