"Well I wrote a long descriptive review but they didn't like it I guess. I'll give you the jist.-It's not as light and funky as people make it out to be. There is that but both discs take a turn for the more intimate and serious; exactly what anyone would want from a good night out.-It blends some unique styles of house that are a refreshing break from what people traditionally call "Progressive house". Anyone see the irony in that? anyway.-I didn't like Emerson's GU releases but these two discs, in particularly disc 1, will be one of those compilations that I recall with good feelings a few years down the road. I can't say that for very many of the compilations that I pick up these days. What Deluxe and Emerson are doing here is breathing new life into EDM. Give it a listen, give it several listens. -I haven't been able to spot a tune I didn't like which is one of my criteriums for an excellent mix. It meets the other criteria as well.Enjoy."
