Remastered in the red

"Japanese pressings - both CD and vinyl - have usually superior sound quality compared to European or American editions; dynamically very rich, powerful and clear. Only DCC or MFSL can compete with them.
No-one can argue about Uli Jon Roth's skills in neo-classical guitar or song writing, but remastering here does no justice to him, his band and this album. Digital distortion ruins listening experience totally. Sound breaks more or less in every song, several times. Always when going gets tough & rocking and volume rises, sound breaks. Very, very disturbing.
I suspect reason for poor job too high master volume level during remastering process. This CD is louder than Japanese, DCC or MFSL CD's normally are. Master volume gets too high, in the red zone, therefore sound breaks. Very amateurish remastering. Total dissappoinment.
Invest your money in some other edition of this classic album; the best being original Japanese vinyl LP edition. If you find that in mint or near mint condition, crab it!"
