No Frills Blues

"From what I can gather, U.P. Wilson has had trouble with the law in recent years, even spending some time in prison, but damn the guy sure knows his way around a fretboard. "Whirlwind" may be his crowning achievement, but you really can't go wrong with anything he's done. This is music best listened to with a home brew in one hand and a cigar in the other, as Wilson straps on his guitar and cuts right to the chase with chunky blues offerings like "Juicin'" and "Bluesola." Wilson fully deserves not only his place in the pantheon of modern blues, but your ear as well."
