"Another under-appreciated metal/heavy rock band from the NWOBHM era.Like some of their counterparts such as Samson,Girlschool,Angel Witch and Diamond Head, the Tygers have remained active through out the years. This is really a great live album, sound couldn't be better.Recorded on July 8,2003 but I didn't see the location.About every track totally shreds, but the tunes I was most impressed with were the rocking opener "Detonator","Rock 'N Roll Man","Suzie Smiled",a couple of their newer cuts "Bad Bad Kitty" and "Cybernation",the ass kicking "Firepower",the Searcher's hit "Love Potion No.9" and Ted Nugent's cover "Cat Scratch Fever".Basically, just good old school British straight ahead rock&roll.Ever wonder what the band's name is all about?Apparently,Pan Tang was an evil city and the Tygers are warriors who bring their homeland to war.Line-up:Richie Wicks-vocals,Robb Weir-guitar,Dean Robertson-lead guitar,Adrian West-bass and Craig Ellis-drums.Might appeal to fans of Saxon,Mama's Boys,Helix and possibly Child's Play.Recommended."
