"I have Tye Tribbetts first CD and have been a fan eversince. Tye is annointed and continues to bring it for the Kingdom. My favorite songs are the classic " Bless the Lord", & others are " 1-2 Victory Check", "VICTORY!","Hallejuah to Your Name", "Everything Will Be Alright", " I want it all it back". He is very unique and has an interesting way he goes about the songs he writes. The choir is off the chain. I love the outfits, they're different. Most people that I tell about Tye Tribbet, they always say " Is that that singer that jumps all over the place dancing?" and I reply that as long as hes jumpin' for JESUS, thats all that matters! I'd rather him jump for JESUS, than all the other stuff going on nowadays! This CD is definitely one that you need to get... NOW! This CD will bless you in many ways than one. Remember, you got the VICTORY...and can't no DEVIL in HELL stop YOU!"

"One of the reasons I love Tye is because of his tremendous talent (All praise be unto God, who is the giver of gifts). I believe his music speaks to the now generation as well as the generation to come! I was there at the recording so I could not wait for this project to be released!!! His music really ministers to me personally, I love the lyrics to his songs because he talks about the things that young people are going through. I love his band (they are the bomb, OKAY) and his group can really sing. I think he is in a class of his own. This album is completely different from the last, but just as good. I've been listening to this album as I walk to and from work (2 hours total), I tell you, it makes you so ready to fight back at the enemy. He has Praise songs that make me cry. I'm telling you this album, really truely ministers. I had to say that twice because in my personal opinion, there are very few contemporary albums that really do. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it was a live recording, but when you listen to the album you do really hear it. There were over 2000 people there that night, not counting the numerious people who could not get in due to full capacity! All the songs are great, but if I really had to choose a favorite it would be "Seated at the Right Hand of God". That song really touches my heart (yes, it makes me cry like a baby). Buy this album, it will really bless your soul!"
Some may not initially grasp the value of Victory Live

"In secular music, image and music go hand in hand so perhaps gospel music too should welcome acts that don't fit an identikit churchy image. The refreshing decision not to take their photo session too seriously suggests Tye Tribbett and GA have taken a more lateral approach to the well-worn gospel choir genre. And yes! Victory Live is a 70 minute offering of Devil-stomping wrapped in confident irony, clever composition and deft musicianship sitting somewhere outside the dimensions of the gospel box.
Having featured on `Prince of Egypt' and shared stage with names including Justin Timberlake and Faith Hill, TT & GA have taken the best secular attributes and flavoured their product therewith. Each song has its own wonderful array of surprises and merits, even the more traditional ones have their TT twang, but it's the concept of TT & GA and the pointer it provides for the future for gospel music that comes out on top here and this sidesteps the trivialities of track by track comparisons. That saying, the ethereal ambient `Seated At The Right Hand Of God' is simply glorious!
Some may not initially grasp the value of Victory Live, but those wanting more from gospel music will welcome this album with open arms. It forces all to re-evaluate, yet again, through sleepless nights over drawing boards. Victory Live reminds consumers and producers alike that the genre is still maturing with much yet to be explored. Groundbreaking!

Tye Tribbett Is Truly Annoited

"You know how you hear a song and you and you wonder where this song is, who wrote it? That's what happened when I heard the song "Everything" on the Tye Tribbett Victory Live CD. I had found this CD on the Used CD Rack- somebody actually returned it because they did not like it!! Then I had to order another one once I played out the first one I purchased. When I got it-I played the CD day and night. A real blessing was seeing Tye and G.A. in concert ministering all these songs live! live! I can honestly say some songs (Alright, I Want It Back, Everything, Victory) are songs I listen to for daily inspiration and to help me give all the praise. I was going through when I bought this CD - and it helped me know that I do have the Victory - and that Everything will be Alright!!
If you are looking to enhance your Gospel Music Collection or begin it...this CD is a must."
