"Well... this CD is pretty AWESOME! If you are a fan of Frankie Bones/Detroit type techno, then pick this up! While I was expecting more from this CD, i am surprised to find that it sounds a bit like Mr. OIZO (broken speaker, clicks and hard funky bass lines, though not as HIP HOP) Definetly pick this one up! If I had to classify this release I would call it "IDM/techno" Only gripe I HAVE is theres not enough interesting samples!"
A return to form for Mr. Weatherall and Mr. Tenniswood

"After the somewhat disappointing 'Stay Down', 'Tiny Reminders shows us why we did rate these two artists so highly in the first place. They obviously decided on a new, simple approach and this album has a very basic feel. When you're listening to it sometimes you find yourself thinking that some of the sounds that you hear must have been created by the earliest keyboards and synths available! This is a plus as what these two guys can do with it is extraordinary. The songs are well worked and have great melodies. The tone is mainly electro, and tracks click along with full foot tapping and head nodding mode in gear.Their mastery of equipment is superb, check out the brilliant 'Notting Hill'! While for all you Deep House heads out there, get movin' to the extremely basic groove of 'The Bunker'.This is an album full of delights and is definitely one for the stereo! Get it now."
