"If you've been searching for some great new power metal to listen to, look no further. Twilightning has aspects that fans from Van Halen to Sonata Arctica will enjoy. A little hair metal, a little progressive and a lot of power, the musicianship is phenomenal. Ville Wallenius leads the guitar onslaught with hooks and riffs reminiscent of Dragonforce's Herman Li, and Heikko Poyhiaa belts out some amazing vocals in the vein of Dragonland's Jonas Heidgert. This is very typical of what the majority of Finnish metal bands sound like, so if you're into Sonata Arctica, Thunderstone, Stratovarius or Dreamtale, this will definately please you. Together with the elements of power metal, there are a few nods to 80's hair metal bands thrown in here. Listening to some of the choruses and melodies, you'd think you were hearing a new version of Bon Jovi or Europe, only cranked up a notch. The musicianship is outstanding and the album has no audible flaws whatsoever--these guys were striving for perfection, and they achieved it. There are plenty of progressive passages to appease even fans of Dream Theater and Rhapsody, too. No matter what type of metal you're into, there's something here for you, and as long as you like it fast, loud and melodic, you will not be disappointed!"
