Beautiful, Nick-Drake-ish, haunting, amazing

"In the great Swedish film "Together" (Tilsammen) there is one scene where a Turid song plays in the background. I was so stunned by the beauty of that one song that I tracked down and bought this CD and it is easily one of my top-10 all time favorites. The songs were recorded in the early 1970s I think -- it is vintage folk psych, very much in the Nick Drake/Tim Buckley vein. Her voice is gorgeous, the songs are hauntingly beautiful, and this is a true gem. Most songs are in Swedish, but a few in English. It is hard to say who she is like, but if you enjoy early Joni Mitchell, or Sandy Denny, or Cat Power -- you'll love this. I strongly, strongly recommend this. It is incredible. Beautiful. Even transcendent."
